Ensure food is given in trough off the ground so that it cannot be fouled

Remove any wet feed from troughs after feeding to prevent bacterial growth

Day 1 Ensure good intake of Darns colostrum
Day 2-3 Continue colostrum or liquid feed of your choice
Day 4 Continue Barnyard Premium Milk Replacement until weaning.
Introduce Toasted Calf Muesli (Ad-Libitum).
Provide a small amount of straw for roughage. Ensure fresh water
Day 5 Continue feeding Toasted Calf Muesli (Ad-Libitum)
Weaning (6-8 weeks) Calves should be consuming a minimum of 1.5kg of Toasted Calf Muesli.
After weaning introduce good quality hay for roughage. Continue with Toasted Calf Muesli for 4 weeks (Ad-Libitum). Maintain fresh water.
